Business Partnerships

 

State Business Partnerships have been developed in a variety of ways. Sponsors of conference activities, scholarships, leadership training, equipment and supplies or in-kind dontations continue to build business partnerships in North Dakota. DECA and Delta Epsilon Chi members continue to gain support from business and industry in our state.

College Partnerships

North Dakota DECA has partnered with colleges in North Dakota. Scholarships are provided by the following: Lake Region State College, Minot State University, and the University of North Dakota. Applications for each scholarship are listed on the scholarship page.

 

Applebee's Partnership

Applebee's Grill and Bar Restaurants in North Dakota and East Grand Forks, Minnesota work with local DECA advisors and chapters to provide a Pancake Breakfast during DECA Week. The 5th Annual Breakfast was held October 17, 2009 in Bismarck, Minot, Jamestown, Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and Fargo. Chapters earned more than $10,000 from ticket sales to the Pancake Breakfast. These dollars are used to attend conference, sponsor local activities, or contribute to the operation of the local chapter. Applbee's will present a DECA member with a $1,000 Scholarship at the 2010 State DECA Conference as 10% of the sales from the project.
